These 52 cages totaling more than 1800 tons of galvanized material were fabricated and assembled in less than 140 work days in the summer of 2003.  Each cage consisted of 36 #18 bars comprised of a 12 bar inner cage, centered in a 24 bar outer cage.  Both cages were spiraled with #7 rebar!  We rolled the spirals and assembled the parts in our cage yard.  We then loaded the assembled cages on a barge docked at our pier on the Mohawk River.
